About Me

Hey there, my name is Laura Sturgill and I couldn't be more thrilled to know you are reading my About Me! I wrote this just for you, so I hope this meets your expectations.

If there is anything interesting about me, it's the fact that I am nearly allergic to everything. I know that sounds extreme, but try imagining a life without soy, breads, seafood, fruits and vegetables to name a few! It sounds horrible, but don't worry, it just gives me the drive and ambition to find what works for my body and not let it interfere with my daily life. It's not worth it to get hung up on the things you can't change! 

To conquer this daily struggle, I find great joy in learning about typefaces and what makes each one so unique. To me, it's all about how grocery products display their ingredient labels. Sometimes I come across a package design I have to buy simply because it was easy to find its ingredients. I commend the graphic designers who designed that package. I actually find joy in explaining to friends which typeface is being used and why a small difference like type selection truly makes a difference.
