Project Overview
Finding safe allergy-free food on a university meal plan proved to be difficult for current and prospective students.
Addressing this problem was clear due to my personal struggles with a long list of common and uncommon food allergies. Ultimately, my struggles forced me to meet with the senior director of Longwood Dining Services and cancel my meal plan. Terminating my meal plan was not ideal as it caused more complications. Knowing firsthand how difficult it was to manage an allergy-free diet on a university meal plan, I wanted to know if others struggled the same way. To fully determine how many students suffered from food allergies, I created and delivered an Online survey to students. The results found that 50 out of 100 students suffered from one or more food allergies, 49 out of 99 actively avoided food allergies while on campus and 30 out of 98 admitted to having trouble avoiding their food allergies.
Case Study
As this was close to a year-long project, I wrote a case study detailing and explaining my thought process and final conclusions. Take a look here and view the website here!

The project also included an email marketing campaign to increase the overall visibility of the project to the audience. It can be viewed here, here and here.
